Based on your feedback from last year, we’ve decided to welcome you on Wednesday. While there won’t be any dancing that day, we’ll gather around a fire, enjoy some wine, and relax to the melodies of a guitar.

VENUE

TIYATRO MEDRESESI, Sirince/Selcuk/Izmir

Our unique fantastic venue offers a spectacular setting for a truly unforgettable tango experience. At once romantic and dramatic, intense yet deeply relaxing, it creates an atmosphere that naturally invites connection and immersion. Once experienced, it leaves a lasting impression that makes it hard to imagine being anywhere else.
Our marathon venue, Tiyatro Medresesi, is located in the renowned village of Şirince. It lies just one hour from İzmir International Airport, 15 minutes from the Ancient City of Ephesus—the second-largest city of the Roman Empire—and very close to the House of the Virgin Mary. The venue is easily accessible from the airport by taxi, subway, or shuttle service.
The Marathon will include tours to the ancient city of Ephesus, The House of Virgin Mary and a few more historical sites, a wine-tasting tour of the Sirince region, and even a trip to the Kusadasi seaside!

Check-in time is 14:00

Check-out time is 12:00.










ACCOMODATION

As you can find your own accomocation in Sirince Village, we have three recommended accomodation options at the moment: one at the marathon venue, Tiyatro Medresesi, second is Nesin Mathematics Village and third Nu-se Garden Hotel, closest boutique hotel to the marathon venue.

TIYATRO MEDRESESI

Marathon Venue has total of 14 double rooms, 5 triple room, 3 quadruple rooms, 1 single room, a room with bunk beds for 12 leaders, a room with bunk beds for 6 followers and areas to stay in a tent. (your own tent)

NESIN MATHEMATICS VILLAGE

Nesin Mathematics Village is the neighbour of our marathon venue. There are only 50 steps between. It is as beautiful as our marathon venue surrounded by beautiful trees. We have 8 rooms there.

NU-SE GARDEN HOTEL

Nu-se Garden Hotel is only 700 meters from the marathon venue. This is the closest alternative hotel. It has 11 double rooms.







FIRE & WINE

Between tours and milongas, you will be able to take a relaxing walk in the Sirince village, which, they say, comes as close to heaven as it is conceivably possible. If you don’t make it to the wine-tasting tour, you will have a chance to taste famous Sirince wines at the Fire & Wine events that we will organize at our venue.

PRICES

Marathon price 170 euros (you can get instant 10 euros off! We will tell you how, when we replied to your registration. On top of this, last year participants get extra 10 euros off. So with this two discounts, your marathon fee can get down to 160 or 150 euros.
You can find your own accomodation or you can choose one of the accomodation options recommended by us below.

Nesin Mathematics Village (only 50 stair steps to our marathon venue) Prices include BREAKFAST, DINNER :
4 nights double room (for two people with one big bed): 270 euros per person(total of 4 nights per person. Breakfasts and dinners will be served at our marathon venue)
4 nights double room (for two people with two separate beds): 270 euros per person(total of 4 nights per person. Breakfasts and dinners will be served at our marathon venue)
4 nights single room (with one big bed): 440 euros(total of 4 nights. Breakfasts and dinners will be served at our marathon venue)

  • *The banker bed rooms in the marathon venue have shared bathroom/toilet. (for women, for men)
  • *The prices include the breakfast and dinner at the Tiyatro Medresesi (marathon venue). For those will be staying at Nesin Mathematics Village, your breakfasts and dinners are also included in the price and you will be eating in our marathon venue too. Nu-se Garden hotel prices include only breakfast, no dinner. (there are plenty of restaurants in Sirince Village where you can find many different options for dinner. Also Nu-se Garden Hotel serves dinners too if you want to eat there.)
  • *Free refreshments, water and tea during milongas.
  • *You will be informed about the payment methods in your registration confirmation email.
  • *No single or two nights acceptance to the marathon.
  • *If you would like to extend your stay, you can check-in earlier or/and check-out later. The price will be in your registration confirmation email.

Our marathon venue can get maximum 220 participants to dance comfortably. That is why, during acceptance process, gender balance, dance level and country diversity will be taken into consideration.
